  • Idea originally initiated by a local 14 year old rider in 2021 to bring a community-oriented
    bike park to Herriman City

  • Proposed as a way to offer youth and families easy access to a local, outdoor bike park

  • Developed over a four-year collaboration with Herriman City officials and local residents
passionate for their community and looking to bring a bike park to Herriman with features
for all ages and skill levels

Project Details

  • The bike park will feature progressive jump lines and technical features for all skill levels

  • Designed and built by Better Bike Parks to be a safe, professionally built space for
everyone from beginners to advanced riders

  • Will contribute to Herriman’s growing trail and outdoor recreation network

  • Low-maintenance design using professionally crafted steel ramps from SuperRamp
Technologies with landings made out of dirt

  • Will serve as an economic driver for our local community, drawing riders from throughout
the state, potentially boosting local businesses which will in turn strengthen Herriman’s
    economic development

  • Historically, local residents needed to drive 20 to 30 minutes to access similar parks, like
Draper Cycle Park and Eagle Mountain Bike Park, but now they can stay in their own city

Funding and Costs

  • Funded through grants, and donations raised through Friends of Herriman

  • Friends of Herriman will oversee the grant and the funds that are matched by the grant

  • It’s a community-backed and donor-supported initiative.
