Andrea Valbuena

“Andrea Valbuena’s story is one of courage, resilience, and determination. Born in Maracaibo, Venezuela, she and her family sought new opportunities in Utah, driven by a desire to create a safer and more prosperous life. Moving to the U.S. was not an easy decision, but Andrea and her husband were willing to make sacrifices to ensure a better future for their daughter. With hard work, they eventually built a business in Herriman, a city where Andrea’s entrepreneurial spirit has flourished.

Their business, rooted in the vibrant culinary traditions of Venezuela, represents more than just a source of income—it is a testament to their perseverance and love for their culture. Andrea not only manages the financial side of their venture but also extends her knowledge to help other small business owners, offering coaching in financial management and business strategies. This passion for empowering others comes from her desire to see fellow entrepreneurs thrive, especially those navigating the complexities of building a business in a new country.

But Andrea’s journey was not without significant challenges. Upon arriving in the U.S., she faced the harsh reality of language barriers and the cultural adjustments that come with relocating to a new country. As a lawyer and accountant in Venezuela, she had earned respect and built a career, but in her new life, she found herself starting over from scratch. She vividly recalls the difficulty of cleaning bathrooms while grappling with feelings of inadequacy, especially when the criticism came not from strangers but from fellow Latinos who questioned her choices. Despite this, Andrea refused to let these moments define her. Instead, she embraced the opportunity for a fresh start, using it as motivation to build something meaningful in her new home.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Andrea is a devoted wife and mother. Her family remains her greatest source of pride, and she attributes much of her success to the support of her loved ones. The strong family values instilled in her during her upbringing in Venezuela continue to shape the way she approaches both her personal and professional life. She believes deeply in the importance of maintaining balance—ensuring that success in business does not come at the expense of one’s well-being or relationships.

Andrea’s life philosophy is built around the idea that true success comes from within. In recent years, she has developed a love for meditation and fitness, viewing both as essential to maintaining her physical and mental health. She sees her time at the gym as a way to recharge and disconnect from the demands of her day-to-day responsibilities, allowing her to stay grounded and focused. Her dedication to personal growth and inner peace has also influenced her long-term goals. Andrea aspires to become a motivational speaker, sharing her journey and inspiring others to focus on their internal growth as they pursue their dreams.

Looking ahead, Andrea has big dreams not only for her family but also for her community. She hopes to establish a non-profit organization aimed at empowering women from low-income backgrounds, helping them achieve financial independence and build better lives for themselves and their families. One of her most ambitious goals is to return to Venezuela once conditions improve, using her expertise to invest in and rebuild the economy of her homeland.

At her core, Andrea Valbuena is a proud Venezuelan who carries the spirit of her culture wherever she goes. Her story is a reflection of her values—hard work, perseverance, and gratitude for life’s opportunities, no matter how difficult the journey. Whether coaching business owners, managing her own ventures, or raising her daughters, Andrea is driven by the desire to inspire, lead, and make a positive impact on the world around her.”
