Teen Musical

Each year, we put on a show for teenagers.

This year we are excited to produce James and the Giant Peach Jr.

We’re working behind the scenes to get everything ready, and here are some things you will want to know:

• Age limit: 13-17 as of September 25, 2023 (the day of the last performance). For clarity’s sake:
  • Your child’s birthday must be between September 26, 2006 and September 25, 2010.
  • These dates are not negotiable; they will be strictly enforced.
  • If your child’s birthday is between July 1, 2010 and September 25, 2010 (i.e., they turn 13 during the production window), they can audition for either this show or the children’s show, but they must pick one. They cannot audition for both.
  • Our audition form will require that you enter a correct birthdate.
• Auditions:
  • Auditions will be accepted through a video audition only.
  • You must fill out our audition form and submit it to be considered. You will receive an email telling you that your form has been accepted for review. If you don’t receive that email confirmation, you will need to contact us to find out what happened.
  • The form will be posted to this page on July 1.
  • The audition window is July 1 to July 10, 2023.
  • All forms must be submitted by 11:59 PM MDT on July 10, 2023.
• Other things to know:
  • Preference will be given to Herriman residents. While we encourage all the youth in our area to audition, this show is funded by Friends of Herriman, a non-profit dedicated to serving the residents of Herriman City. For this reason, we will be asking for your address on the audition form.
  • There will be a $25 per cast member participation fee. This fee will be collected after the show cast has been finalized, but will be required before scripts will be distributed to cast members.
