Herriman has long been known for its quality live theater! From our covered outdoor venue with stunning views of the valley, to our live pit orchestra, to the fantastic work of the actors on stage and the production staff, Herriman’s summer show has the whole package.

Join us for a unique and amazing experience under the Pavilion at Butterfield Park (6212 W Butterfield Parkway,  Herriman, UT 84096).  This year. you will get to jump into the jungle as we tell the captivating story of TARZAN the musical.

Tarzan: The Stage Musical tells the story of a baby orphaned after a jarring encounter with a leopard.  Kala, a mother gorilla, hears his cries, finds him, and brings him home to become part of the gorilla family led by the wise and protective Kerchak. 

Tarzan’s world changes when a group of humans, led by the adventurous Jane Porter, arrives in the jungle. Tarzan forms a deep connection with Jane, discovering his human heritage and grappling with the tension between his animal upbringing and his desire to belong to the human world.

With themes of identity, love, and self-discovery, Tarzan explores the struggle of balancing the wild and the civilized while embracing one’s true nature. Set to a soaring rock-inspired score by Phil Collins, the musical features vibrant choreography, stunning visuals, and a powerful message about family and acceptance.

TARZAN is presented through special arrangement with Music Theatre International(MTI).

NOTES for the venue and pre-show:

Ticketing booth opens at 6:30 pm. Seating is outside so dress accordingly. House Seating will be by color starting at 7:30 pm on a first come basis.

Mountain Mike’s will be selling pizza pre-show from 6:30-7:30 pm June 6,7,9,13,14,16. Come early to grab some food before the show!

Please dress appropriately for weather.  Even in undesirable weather the show will continue.
