SUMMARY:Book-it to Blackridge
DESCRIPTION:Date/Time:   \n\n\n\nSaturday\, November 7\, 2026 8 am-6 pm  \n\n\n\nEvent Details:   \n\n\n\nBook-it to Blackridge is a FREE unsupported Endurance Trail Run.  Participants are responsible for ALL trail support: Water\, snacks\, sports drinks\, lights if needed and gear.   \n\n\n\nThe contest is based on the number of laps the runner completes and is not a timed event.  The runners have 10 hours to complete as many laps as they can.  These laps do not need to be run all at once\, they can run a few in the morning\, take a break\, and come back and run a few more.  Every time a runner leaves and comes back to the Event\, they need to check in with the Volunteers at the Registration Tent.  The cut off time for runners to be on the trail for their final lap is 5:30 pm. Each lap is approximately 7 miles.   \n\n\n\nUpon arriving at the Blackridge Trailhead\, the runner will need to register or check-in if they registered online. There\, they will be issued with a race number and can begin their run. At the top of the loop\, the runners will find a book. They will flip through the pages of the book and find the page number that matches their race number and tear that page out of the book. Then they finish their loop and run back to the trailhead.   \n\n\n\nRunners will show their torn page to the Volunteers at the tent and get a NEW race number\, and then run to the top of the loop to tear a different page that matches their new number from the book.  The Runner with the most pages is the winner of this Event!     \n\n\n\nRegistration:   \n\n\n\nThis is a free event!  There are no registration.  We strongly encourage you to make a trail donation and support the trails we love!  While a donation is not required\, it is most definitely appreciated!  All donations made will go directly into our trail building fund!   \n\n\n\nYou may register online before November 6\, 2026\, or we will have an on-site sign-up at the trailhead.  All runners must sign a waiver at the trailhead to participate if they did not register online.  \n\n\n\nhttps://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/foh-trails-book-it-from-blackridge  \n\n\n\nCourse:   \n\n\n\nRunners will run on the Blackridge Trail to the top of Eric’s Trail\, where the Book will be in a Rubbermaid bin\, at the intersection of Eric’s and Mustang\, then come down the Mustang Trail to Eric’s and back down Blackridge to the Trailhead.  Each lap is approximately 7 miles.   \n\n\n\nVolunteers:    \n\n\n\nWe love our Volunteers and could use all the help we can get!  Please sign up here to volunteer!   https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C48A4A62CA7FFC70-65996604-bookit   \n\n\n\nWeather:   \n\n\n\nWeather is always unpredictable at this time of year. If the trails are dry\, we will still run the event regardless of the cold. So please dress accordingly.  If it is rainy\, snowy or if the trails are muddy\, the event will be cancelled.   \n\n\n\nAny questions or concerns please contact: Amanda Slighting: 801-712-4089  amanda@friendsofherriman.org  \n\n\n\nhttps://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/foh-trails-book-it-from-blackridge
